Part of the Mottainai Collection created in Tokyo, the Gorget Collier is created using the membrane layers found inside computer keyboards—the component that provides the tactile feedback when a key is pressed.
Inspired by the material’s flexibility and its semi-transparent appearance, I developed an eco-tech piece that marks a clear departure from my previous creations.
Gorget features a retro-inspired aesthetic reminiscent of the ruffled collars of the 17th century, reinterpreted through a contemporary and sustainable design approach.
