Our creations give new life to computer keycaps, keyboard membranes, electronic circuits, cables, plugs and discarded CDs. Some designs also incorporate bio-resin, textiles, palladium-plated brass and other carefully selected elements. Every reclaimed component—including keycaps—is thoroughly cleaned and prepared before being transformed into jewellery. Materials vary by collection, so please consult the individual product description for details.

Every collection is conceived and developed in Italy. Many pieces, including our Recycled Keycap Rings, are carefully handmade in Italy using reclaimed and selected anti-allergic materials.

No two reclaimed components are exactly alike. Small differences in colour, texture, markings, finish or signs of previous use may occur because the materials have already lived a previous life. These variations are part of the sustainable process and make every creation distinctive.

Materials vary according to the design. Many of our jewellery bases use anti-allergic, palladium-plated brass. If you have a known allergy or particularly sensitive skin, contact us before ordering for information about the specific piece.

Our eco-tech approach transforms discarded technological materials into wearable design, extending their useful life and reducing waste. Each piece is created to be appreciated and cared for over time rather than treated as a disposable accessory.

They come from discarded or obsolete technological objects and components, sourced mainly through personal donations, offices and recycling centres. Their exact origin and appearance may vary depending on the collection and the materials available.

Because each creation can combine several materials, it should not be placed in ordinary household recycling without checking first. In general, the different materials should be carefully disassembled and placed in the appropriate recycling streams. Yes. You can select your favourite keycap from the available list. For something more personal, choose the “Special Key” option and contact us at info@byludo.com; we will check our recycled-keycap stock for a letter, number, symbol or function key that is meaningful to you.

Not necessarily. Original computer keycaps can differ slightly in font, positioning, colour and secondary markings. These variations are part of what makes every piece one of a kind.

Some keys display more than one character. For example, a “$” key may also feature the number “4.” These markings come from the keycap’s original keyboard layout and add to the individuality and technological history of the piece.

Yes. Minor marks, variations or signs of previous use are natural characteristics of reclaimed materials. They are not defects; they reflect the keycap’s history and the sustainable process behind the design.

Estimated delivery information is provided during checkout. Processing and transit times may vary depending on the destination, selected piece and busy periods. When tracking is available, you will receive the details by email after dispatch.

Email us promptly with your order number and clear photographs of the item and packaging. We will review the issue and assist you with the appropriate solution.

Returns may be requested according to the conditions in our Refund Policy. Please contact us before sending anything back so we can provide the correct instructions.

Personalised pieces, including Recycled Keycap Rings created using the Special Key option, may not be eligible for return except when defective or where required by applicable law. Any relevant conditions will be communicated before the order is confirmed.

Treat every piece as a small work of wearable art. Avoid contact with water, perfume, cosmetics, cleaning products, substances containing alcohol and excessive humidity. Put your jewellery on after applying fragrance or skincare products.

Gently remove dust with a clean, soft and dry cloth. Do not immerse the piece in water or use alcohol, solvents, abrasive products or household cleaners.

Keep your jewellery in a dry place, away from direct sunlight, heat and heavy objects. Store pieces separately to prevent scratching or pressure on delicate components.

Our pieces are designed to be worn, but reclaimed technological components can include delicate or rigid elements. Handle them carefully and avoid bending, dropping or compressing them. Adjustable ring bases should be adjusted gently rather than repeatedly bent or forced.
